We'll drive you up the wall!
Continuing our trip around the Miami Design District, we find this interesting solution to the parking problem. This used to be the Miami Police Museum, if I recall correctly, and the car used to be painted in the official colors of a Miami-Dade Police patrol car. I'm not sure when this stopped being associated with the police, though. They did leave the car, stripped of its official colors, and the building is now empty, waiting for new tenants. It's a shame it went away, I never got to visit it (and they had a cop car from Blade Runner!).
By the way, traffic in Miami can sometimes make you want to drive exactly like that.
PS: I have just found out that the Police Museum moved to Titusville, Florida. Why, however, no one knows.

Wow! Great shot I love the design of this building. Simple but it shouts out "look at me!!"
whoah, nice parking! Hope the new tenants will not remove the car.
Nice shot! Reminds me of spider man hehehe :-)
this is cool and maybe Anne got it...this is how spider man parks...
Funny shot!Definitely not something you see everday! Perfect for April fool's day :)!
Will it fall?. Is it a mural or a real car?
Cool!
Hi,
I just saw your blog the same day I started mine (very roughly)...here in Miami. I posted your blog address on my site if that is o.k. with you....http://miamiinasecond.blogspot.com
All the Best!
great pic...hope that car is stuck on securely!
Yes it's a real car. It's set to become a fire dept./ambulance museum, and they didn't want to take it down because they'd never get the permits to put it back up. I think the plan is to cover it in some kind of fiberglass body to fake it as an ambulance.
Ah, cool! Thanks for the update.
