Cops, South Beach style
As I said, things in South Beach are rarely done the normal way, and that applies even to the cops. While bicycle cops may be normal for other parts of the country or the world, I'm willing to bet that they are not quite the same as these guys: all muscled and buff, tanned to a perfect bronze (if they were friend foods, they'd be done), and chatting on a cellphone as they patrol the "beat" that is Ocean Drive. It must be so hard watching out for so many beautiful people!

Hola y welcome a la familia de los daily photo bloggers!! I just had a flashback of "the Birdcage" thank to this photo! Great motion shot!!
Welcome to the global family. Miami is such a fun city, you have so much material to work with.
Bravo Miami, Welcome abord! I've been trying to tell my brother to do it, he lives in Miami but I guess his just too buzy!
I was happy to see Miami on the blog...
thanks for adding me! all the best for miami as a fellow newbie to the daily photo blog! great pics so far
Great way to show SoBe without being too stereotypical. There will be time for that. I'm waiting for Vizcaya, Coconut Grove, Haulover, and the Seaquarium personally. ;-)
I live not far from Haulover Beach, so I'll see if I can swing by and take some pics (of the clothing enforced area, though). I've lived almost 11 years in Miami and I've never been to the Seaquarium! My mom and nephew will visit this June, so maybe we'll make a trip then. Vizcaya... Let's just say I love having an excuse to return and take lots of pics; I love that place. And the Grove, I'll add it to the list. Thanks for the suggestions!
Hi Miami! Nice twilight pic....
Hola bienvenido al grupo. It is good to know that a nice city like Miami is going to be well represented. A cousin of mine lives there and many friends so I will be looking forward to watching your pictures often.
I have hear the statistic that talking on the cell phone while driving is as dangerous as driving drunk. So we this bicycle cop maybe the equivalent of a drunk bicycle cop.
Good photo and comment.
I've never been to Miami. Look forward to your shots.
